The Tableland Mill 24MW Green Energy Power Plant project was unique in that Energy Power Consulting Engineers were engaged by the Principal Contractor for the supply of equipment, and by the end-client, MSF Sugar to undertake Generator Registration (R1 & R2).
Our team provided following equipment:
- 66kV Switchyard and associated equipment
- 11lV Substation and associated equipment
- Switchgear Control and Protection systems
- Steam Turbine Generator Control and Protection systems
Our team were responsible for undertaking power systems analysis using DIgSILENT Powerfactory to provide:
Protection Coordination Studies
Fault Level Studies
Transient Stability Studies
Load Flow Studies
On behalf of MSF Sugar, was responsible for management of Ergon Energy contract for 2nd 66kV Switchyard.
Energy Power Consulting Engineers were engaged by MSF Sugar to undertake all Technical Compliance Studies to meet AEMO Generator Performance Standards and National Electricity Rules (NER). This process included benchmarking to PSSE & PSCAD and preparation of the Releasable User Guide (RUG), various tuning reports and R2 Model Validation Test Plan.
Using the most up-to-date test equipment, our team have undertaken site commissioning and R2 Validation Testing.
